Welcome to Booking Bible
Your new booking platform is live — here is what to expect and where to find things.
- New feature·
Exact gross price books for one-time catalog purchases
Money Settings lists exact gross currency prices for the venue catalog; ordinary products, services, packages and bundles remain draft-only.
- New featurePassesBillingMarketing site·
Review residence-based membership prices and tax markets
Recurring passes can offer reviewed gross prices in several currencies while billing residence determines tax and unavailable markets stay closed.
- New featureBookingsPassesSchedule·
Choose whether workshops and course sessions count toward the daily booking limit
Two new switches under Booking Rules decide whether workshops and course sessions count toward "Max Bookings/Day" and toward pass daily limits. Both start on. The daily limit now counts only bookings at your venue, per location unless you chose venue-wide.
- New featureCoursesScheduleCheck In·
Tell shared workshop dates apart with a course identifier
Give each course a short label and colour, for example 8W or 18W, and every workshop date linked to that course shows it as a pill for staff and clients.
- New featureAPI·
Client Benefits for selected passes and services
Client Benefits lets your venue offer agreed vendor discounts to clients with selected passes or qualifying appointment services. Once BookingBible has an active vendor agreement, open **Client Benefits** in the admin menu, accept the current terms and choose the passes or services to include.
- New featurePoint of Sale·
Ring up several items as one sale in the Business app
The Business app register keeps a basket of several products, bundles and services with quantities, shows the verified total with VAT, and takes one payment for all of it.
- New featureBilling·
Booking Bible invoices now come as PDFs, by email if you want them
Every Booking Bible invoice now has a proper PDF from Booking Bible ApS that you can download from the Money page. You can choose whether each new invoice is emailed to you, and which email address receives it. No action is needed — invoices keep going to your account admin until you choose otherwise.
- New feature·
Set your own "recently joined" rule, and flag passes about to run out
The check-in "New member" flag is now called **Recently joined**, and you decide the rule: how many days after signup, and how many visits, still count. Set it under Settings → Client list & flags. It defaults to the same rule as before (30 days, under 5 visits), so nothing changes until you adjust it.

A promo code can waive a membership's registration fee
Promotions gain a "Waive a membership's registration fee" benefit. A batch of single-use codes can each waive the joining fee on a membership, including a Flexible membership at any class allowance and with add-ons, while the membership itself is billed at its normal price.
- New feature·
Hand out personal promo codes from your website, with a deadline you choose
If your own website or marketing tool talks to BookingBible through the API, it can now hand one code from a promo-code batch to one person, give that code a deadline, and email it to them in your brand's style.
- New feature·
Clients choose which pass they use first
Clients with more than one pass can now pick the one their bookings use first. On the web they do it under Passes → Default pass, and in the Consumer and branded apps on the passes screen. Staff can set or clear it for a client on the client profile's Passes tab ("Uses first") and in the Business app client detail. Changing it needs the "manage passes" permission and never notifies the client.
- New feature·
Clients can settle overdue payments themselves
When a membership renewal fails or an invoice goes overdue, your clients can now pay it themselves with one tap, on the web client portal and in the Consumer and branded apps. Nothing is ever charged automatically: every payment starts with the client pressing **Pay now**, and it uses the card they have saved. If their bank asks for 3-D Secure confirmation, the confirmation opens right away and th

A flash sale can now offer the registration fee alone
A recurring flash sale can leave the membership price untouched and make the registration-fee waiver the entire offer. This is the only honest shape on a Flexible membership, where one shared introductory price cannot equal the normal price at every class allowance. The public offers feed marks such a sale so a storefront shows the struck fee without advertising a cheaper membership.
- New featurePassesNotifications·
Unused-class leftover rules in Advanced pass settings
When unused classes roll into the next period, studios can cap leftover, carry through a pause, tell clients leftover is lost on termination, and roll class-pack leftover into the next pack bought before expiry.
- New featurePasses·
Flexible giver-funded gift mode and unused-class publish
Yoga Bible (and other Flexible studios) can select giver-funded membership when the studio feature and platform switch are on. Publishing unused-class rollover no longer fails with “live rules changed elsewhere” after the gift/rollover columns shipped.
- New featureAppointmentsNetworkMarketing site·
Appointment clients stay in dashboard book; shared hours open real slots
Appointment-only clients book from the dashboard or widget, not the old venue marketing pages. Professionals who share hours open real treatment slots at the host. Clubs stay; favourite instructors hide. Flash sales no longer default to the pricing page.
- New featureServicesAppointments·
Appointment service editor — visibility, deposits, technicians, catalog
Appointment venues can activate services, set Public vs POS-only, configure deposits, assign technicians with duration/price, and organize categories, collections, and tags — without Nailtech-only special cases.
- New featureMarketing siteLoyaltyAppointments·
Appointment marketing: treatment flash sales, visit loyalty, visit sequences
Appointment and mixed venues can discount a service, award loyalty on completed visits, start sequences on visit-card low / treatment completed / no-show, and market to clients who booked a service in the last 90 days. Class studios keep class packs, per-class points, and class triggers. Mode flips hide or show these products without deleting rows.
- New featureAdvanced Marketing·
Marketing tools follow appointment-only venue chrome
When venue-type chrome is on, appointment-only venues see visit-pack flash-sale wording, no class campaign filter or class sequence triggers, and reviews copy without class studio language. Class and hybrid venues stay unchanged.
- New featureMarketing siteBillingPasses·
Flash sales: choose what extras cost during the offer, and discount the joining fee
When a flash sale runs on a membership that includes paid extras, you now choose whether the client pays only for the days of the offer (the default) or a full period. You can also give a discount on the joining fee instead of only waiving it. Both are set while the sale is still a draft, previewed with real amounts and dates, and locked once you publish.
- New featureMarketing sitePoint Of Sale·
Flash-sale drafts publish once, and POS can pick the offer
Staff can save a private flash-sale draft, review it, and publish it once. Announcement copy stays private. POS can attach the published offer to a pass sale.
- New feature·
Treatment records: who can see what
Venues get five separate staff permissions for appointment-linked treatment records (view own, record own, view all, manage, export). A technician sees and records treatments for the appointments they performed; seeing colleagues' records, editing them or exporting records are separate grants a venue gives on purpose. Export is owner-level by default.
- New feature·
Service image authoring and recovery
Web service editing and the Business-app API companion now share one venue-scoped image writer. Authorized admins with bookings.manage can upload JPG, PNG or WebP (up to5 MiB, at least1200 by675 pixels), then save a16:9 catalog image. Existing service-catalog franchise locks also apply. The writer validates owned original paths and bytes, creates immutable1600/800/400 WebP versions, and compares t
- New feature·
Service assignments and variants: shared administration contracts
This isolated source candidate gives web and Business app clients one server authority for assigning professionals to services and managing duration/price variants. It is not deployed and does not establish full setup parity or Nailtech handover readiness.
- New feature·
Service archive API companion
The Business app's service archive action now has a dedicated staff-JWT API companion: `POST /api/v1/admin/services/{id}/archive`, with an empty JSON object and a required Idempotency-Key. It uses the same organization-scoped archive core as web administration, including permission, franchise-lock, audit/webhook and cache behavior. Existing appointments are retained; this is service deactivation,
- New feature·
Rooms panel floor-plan upload
Venue staff can upload a room floor plan only after the room exists. The form shows pending, saved, error, and unknown states, serializes upload with save/remove, and will not replace a newly finalized URL with a stale text field. Late responses from another room are ignored. Legacy external URLs remain editable. The upload flow does not request client notifications; no live operation was exercise
- New feature·
Public appointment team listings
Public venue team listings can include active service providers and instructors, including a delivery capability on another primary role. A generic staff account is not automatically a public professional. The venue's public-listing setting and professional collaboration withdrawals remain authoritative.
- New feature·
Provider working hours: shared administration contract
This isolated source candidate gives web and Business app clients one server authority for provider working-hours rows. It is not deployed and does not establish full setup parity.
- New feature·
Combined visits: any professional or a named one
When a client books several services as one visit on the Web or embedded booking page, they now choose between any available professional and a person the venue offers by name for every selected service. Any keeps every assigned professional available, including people the venue does not list for named booking, and the venue assigns the professional for the whole visit. Named choice only shows peo
- New feature·
Independent staff listing and booking choices
Local candidate only: this work has not been deployed or published to app stores.
- New feature·
Appointment setup: consistent settings and readiness
This source candidate gives web and Business clients a shared appointment-policy API and a read-only check of current setup readiness. It is not deployed; the Business companion is still required.
- New feature·
Appointment payment recovery groundwork
Paid appointment adapters preserve the provider and price held by an existing checkout instead of rereading current venue policy after preparation. They accept an unnamed any-available request and keep retries on the same payment operation. This is local source work, not a live feature announcement.
- New feature·
Any available staff uses real appointment availability
The local appointment candidate now chooses Any available staff from the same availability rules used to offer booking times. A person must be assigned to the service, active in the venue and available for that service, option, location and time. Their actual price override is included in the quote.
- New feature·
Admin offering presentation
Venue admin labels, terminology preview, Learning Center first-booking steps, and the main dashboard now follow the venue's current booking mode and product lifecycle instead of craft-only defaults.
- New featurePoint of Sale·
Native register can use the same quick-sale favorites as the desk
Staff using the Booking Bible Business app can now see and pin the same quick-sale favorites already used on the web register.
- New featurePoint of SalePaymentsGift Cards·
Native register now matches the desk for splits, gifts, bundles, EOD and card confirmation
Staff using the Booking Bible Business app can now finish the same register work they already do on the web desk.
- New featurePoint of SaleNotifications·
Desk sales stay silent until you choose a receipt
After a register sale, staff choose Email, SMS or Push. Nothing is sent automatically.
- New feature·
Check guest rules while creating a Flexible pass
The Flexible pass editor explains the current venue guest rule and links authorized staff directly to its configuration.
- New feature·
Publish Flexible add-ons and let clients choose them at checkout
The Flexible pass builder now has a Recurring add-ons section, clients pick add-ons in the online checkout, allowance changes explain which add-ons stop, and your pricing page and embeds show which add-ons are available.
- New feature·
Flexible memberships can carry recurring add-ons
A Flexible membership can now include recurring services such as a mat and towel service or online access, billed and shown together with the membership. Publishing add-ons from the pass builder follows in the next release.
- New feature·
Room for more clients, without changing your plan
An optional extra that raises your client allowance without changing your base plan or its price. It is not on sale yet — here is what it will cost and how it will work.
- New feature·
Preview a new agreement before you migrate
Venues on an existing legacy agreement can now preview a published new-agreement offer side by side with their current terms, with no change to billing.
- New feature·
Find migrated contacts and reopen purchased gift vouchers
After a reviewed venue import, authorized staff can search source records and contacts without email. The wallet release lets buyers reopen confirmed paid gift vouchers.
- New featureAppointments Full·
Decide how late clients can change an appointment themselves
Set a cutoff after which clients contact you instead of changing appointments online. Paid appointments require staff assistance unless eligible self-service terms were accepted and the service is enabled.
- New featureAppointments·
Combined service visits
When enabled for the venue, clients can book several services as one sequential visit with one technician. Rollout remains gated by payment verification and the required releases.
- New feature·
BOOKING BIBLE SITES — what it is, what it will cost, and when you can get it
A branded website built on the venue you already run, designed through chat and published when you say so. It is in preview and cannot be bought yet — here is exactly who will be able to add it and what it will cost.
- New feature·
Retire a membership plan and move members to Flexible
Archiving a membership plan now shows how many members are still renewing on it, and staff can move any of them to a Flexible membership at their next renewal — nothing charged today, fully reversible.
- New feature·
Set pausing and notice periods on the membership itself
A Choose-your-classes membership can now allow or block pausing, set its own pause limits, and carry its own notice period — without changing the rules for everyone else at your venue.
- New feature·
Introductory offers can now require a full month at the normal price
A flash sale with an introductory price can require a set number of full-price months after it, and a dated offer now ends on the day it says it does — for the client and for the charge.
