Welcome to Booking Bible
Your new booking platform is live — here is what to expect and where to find things.
- Improvement·
Recover an interrupted product card sale
Original-reference recovery can finish a verified product payment after interrupted card authentication once the release is qualified.
- Bug fixPayments·
Account-credit refunds check the original payment currency
A payment in a different currency cannot be turned into venue account credit. Refund it to its original payment method instead.
- Bug fix·
Receipts use the original payment currency
Email and PDF payment receipts display amounts in the currency recorded with the payment.
- New feature·
Exact gross price books for one-time catalog purchases
Money Settings lists exact gross currency prices for the venue catalog; ordinary products, services, packages and bundles remain draft-only.
- Bug fixGift CardsPayments·
Refund a gift card from Today's sales
A gift-card sale in Today's sales has a Refund button again. It returns the money to the buyer's original online payment and removes the refunded value from the card, so it can't be spent afterwards. A gifted pass is always refunded in full.
- Bug fixClients·
Merging duplicate client profiles works again
Reviewing a possible duplicate showed an error ("Minified React error
- Bug fix·
Password recovery respects two-factor verification
Saving a password with a recovery code preserves two-factor verification, and connected checkouts can display the exact version of venue terms.
- Bug fix·
Clearer messages when sign-in is temporarily unavailable
Password sign-in now explains temporary service failures and excessive attempts, and avoids starting account recovery during those failures.
- ImprovementSchedulingPassesNotifications·
Set complete booking rules for each brand
Brand overrides include workshop and course booking windows, daily limit scope and notification timing, with venue fallback for each omitted field.
- New featurePassesBillingMarketing site·
Review residence-based membership prices and tax markets
Recurring passes can offer reviewed gross prices in several currencies while billing residence determines tax and unavailable markets stay closed.
- Bug fixPaymentsBillingMemberships·
Receipts and membership emails state each member's real recurring price
The recurring note on a membership receipt, the "First payment" on a future-start confirmation, the "Final payment" on a cancellation email and the gifted-membership price now come from the member's own membership terms instead of the catalog price, and an introductory offer says when it ends and what follows.
- ImprovementPaymentsBillingPoint of Sale·
Re-issue a refund that Stripe canceled, without double-charging your venue
When a completed refund is later canceled or failed in Stripe, owners and finance staff can re-issue it from the payment page. Bookings, accounting and your venue balance are never adjusted twice, and new refunds wait until an open refund problem is resolved.
- Bug fixNetworkBusiness App·
Re-invite a professional after ending a collaboration
Ended or declined professional collaborations can be restarted with Re-invite, and pending invitations can be re-sent, on the web and in the Business app.
- Bug fixSchedulingStaffAppointments·
Instructor and provider pickers follow capabilities and hide deleted accounts
Teachers who also hold front-desk or other roles stay selectable as instructors, and deleted accounts no longer appear in instructor or provider pickers.
- ImprovementScheduleCheck InBookings·
Notifications you choose are now sent, and you see what happened
Restoring a class, editing a class, adding a substitute and removing a client can now notify by Email, SMS or Push, and every action tells you what was sent and why anything was not.
- ImprovementScheduleNotificationsBusiness App·
Clear Email, SMS and Push choices when you cancel a class
Cancelling a class now has separate choices for booked clients and the instructor, each channel shows who it reaches, and the instructor can be told by Email and Push without notifying clients.
- ImprovementCheck InScheduleStreaming·
Check-in separates streaming clients, responds instantly and shows new bookings
The class check-in list now shows in-studio clients first and streaming clients in their own section, checks a client in without reloading the list, adds a Refresh button and shows a client who has just booked within seconds.
- Bug fixBillingMembershipsBusiness App·
Membership termination works again, and paid renewals are recorded
Staff can terminate memberships again, refusals say why, abandoned attempts clear themselves, and renewals paid after a failed attempt are recorded automatically.
- New featureBookingsPassesSchedule·
Choose whether workshops and course sessions count toward the daily booking limit
Two new switches under Booking Rules decide whether workshops and course sessions count toward "Max Bookings/Day" and toward pass daily limits. Both start on. The daily limit now counts only bookings at your venue, per location unless you chose venue-wide.
- New featureCoursesScheduleCheck In·
Tell shared workshop dates apart with a course identifier
Give each course a short label and colour, for example 8W or 18W, and every workshop date linked to that course shows it as a pill for staff and clients.
- Bug fixBookingsCheck InBusiness App·
Guest names stay correct on class check-in rosters
Account-free guests now appear under the name entered for their booking on Business check-in rosters, even when a staff member created the booking.
- New featureAPI·
Client Benefits for selected passes and services
Client Benefits lets your venue offer agreed vendor discounts to clients with selected passes or qualifying appointment services. Once BookingBible has an active vendor agreement, open **Client Benefits** in the admin menu, accept the current terms and choose the passes or services to include.
- ImprovementPoint of SaleAppointments·
Clearer tax setup and end-of-day reconciliation
Appointment payments keep their prepared tax values, and end-of-day reconciliation distinguishes original tender amounts, recorded refunds and unverified methods.
- New featurePoint of Sale·
Ring up several items as one sale in the Business app
The Business app register keeps a basket of several products, bundles and services with quantities, shows the verified total with VAT, and takes one payment for all of it.
- Bug fix·
Adding a client to a class from the Business app works again
Staff who may manage bookings can add a client to a class from the Business app again. The app refused every attempt with a "permission" message.
- Bug fixAppointmentsPayments·
A refunded appointment payment now frees its time slot
Sometimes a paid online appointment has to be refunded, for example when the time was taken or the booking could not be completed. In those cases the appointment could stay in your calendar as confirmed even though the client had been refunded. That blocked the time slot. The refund record also sometimes showed a later technical reason instead of the one that actually caused the refund.
- Bug fixAppointmentsPayments·
Paid appointment bookings no longer get refunded by mistake
When a client paid for an appointment online, the booking could fail right after the payment went through. The client was told the time was no longer free and their payment was refunded, even though nobody else had taken that time. The booking was created and paid for. Then it was treated as if it clashed with another booking, when that other booking was the client's own.
- Bug fix·
Unused classes now carry over reliably after a renewal
Memberships that let unused classes roll into the next period now keep them when the membership renews, when it was sold with an aligned first period, and the leftover cap and pause choices you set are applied again.
- Improvement·
Changing a membership's monthly class allowance now asks you to confirm
When an edit would remove or change the monthly class allowance of a recurring membership, the pass type review explains who is affected and asks for confirmation before it saves.
- ImprovementConsumer ApiDiscoveryMobile App·
Explore distinguishes offerings from available times
Explore now labels treatment and salon counts as venues offering those services. It shows the venue even when no time is available on the selected day. Available times continue to come from each venue's live slot search.
- ImprovementMarketing site·
Target campaigns using customer purchase relationships
Campaign purchase and promotion rules can now calculate an audience and be used for delivery. In **Marketing → Campaigns**, add include or exclude conditions for current passes, completed purchases, or previous use of a promotion. The preview shows the matched audience and the number currently eligible for each channel.
- Bug fix·
Review failed membership renewals in one place
The client Passes tab now shows the recorded failed renewal, its payment status and available next actions; the Failed Renewals report includes suspended renewing memberships.
- ImprovementBillingMembershipsBookings·
Original renewal payment recovery
Keep payment recovery tied to the original unpaid renewal.
- Bug fix·
Membership grace dates and monthly class balances stay accurate
Staff can extend a failed renewal's booking grace through a chosen day. A suspended membership keeps its restriction when a late payment notice arrives, and fixed monthly class allowances stay tied to what the member bought.
- Improvement·
Interrupted card updates keep the original payment
Member web card updates retain the original missed payments and check their status before another payment can start.
- Bug fix·
Clearer renewal payment links and failed-payment notices
Renewal payment links recognise the current payment provider format and show whether a payment can be completed, is pending, or needs venue help. Failed-payment notices use the recorded currency and available bank reason, with a link to the venue account.
- Improvement·
A new card can settle a missed membership payment
Saving or choosing a card now tries the missed membership payment automatically. Staff can change the membership card without charging it, and members can see which saved card their membership uses.
- Bug fixComplianceBranded Apps·
Account-deletion page now names your venue on your branded domain
bookingbible.com/privacy/delete-account now names your venue, its data controller and support email when opened on your venue subdomain, instead of only platform wording.
- Bug fixCoursesBookingsActivity Feed·
Your branded app and site show only your venue
Courses, bookings, member profiles, the community feed and push notifications in your branded app now stay inside your venue, and the feed and chat follow your feature settings.
- Bug fixMarketing siteNotifications·

- ImprovementBookingsPasses·

Review later bookings and keep confirmed cancellations visible if a pass change is interrupted.
- ImprovementMarketing siteNotificationsAPI·
Push campaign review and recipient reports
Campaigns can use **Push** with a plain-text title and message. Review the current message and eligible recipient count before queueing a saved draft. Saving or editing a draft does not send it. Email and SMS remain separate choices; **Both** means email and SMS.
- ImprovementBrandsBookingsBilling·
History retained when a brand moves
Keep earlier booking and payment history visible when a brand moves.
- ImprovementPoint of SalePaymentsPasses·

The register distinguishes money already received from an online charge and keeps interrupted pass sales available for resolution.

Campaign delivery lists and correction drafts
Open **Marketing → Campaigns → Delivery details** to see who was sent each email, SMS or Push campaign, including when a campaign stopped partway through. Each channel shows sent, delivered, failed, skipped, pending or uncertain. Sent means the provider accepted the message; delivered appears when confirmed. Delivery reports retain confirmed acceptance when callbacks arrive late or out of order. A
- Bug fixPaymentsPasses·
Recurring checkout confirmation follows the completed payment
Membership checkouts now recognize a payment already completed by the payment webhook even when Stripe omits the invoice link from its PaymentIntent response.
