Welcome to Booking Bible
Your new booking platform is live — here is what to expect and where to find things.
- Bug fixPaymentsReports·
Recovered payments appear on the day they are collected
Today sales and cash breakdowns include overdue payments on their collection day while retaining the original payment history.
- Bug fix·
Correct the instructor on a past class
The schedule instructor picker now opens an audited correction for past classes, with a reason and one clear confirmation.
- Bug fix·
Membership reservations complete correctly when nothing is due today
Saved-card membership purchases with a free period or a future start now confirm their reserved place before reporting completion. Future memberships keep their scheduled start date.
- Bug fix·
A new card now really replaces the old one on a failed membership payment
When a membership renewal fails and a member (or you) picks or adds another card, that card is now the one the membership charges — this time and every month after. Retries no longer hit the old card, and a payment that Stripe had closed no longer ends in "try again later".
- Bug fix·
Changing a class's instructor, room, time or capacity works again
Since 23 September, saving a change to a single class (instructor, substitute, room, time, capacity, bulk edit) failed with an error on the web schedule and in the Business app. Fixed; nothing you saved was lost.
- Improvement·
Clients can pay the rest of a partly paid invoice themselves
When part of an invoice is already paid, for example a deposit or a bank transfer you recorded, your client can now pay what is left themselves. The invoice shows the remaining balance, and **Pay remaining balance** charges exactly that amount to the card they have saved, on the web client portal and in the Consumer and branded apps. Once it goes through, the invoice is marked paid.
- Bug fixPlatform·
Behind-the-scenes database actions are now server-only by default
BookingBible tightened who may run its internal database actions. Anything new is now available only to BookingBible itself unless it is explicitly approved for the app or the web. Nothing changes on your screens, and there is nothing you need to do.
- Improvement·
Clients see exactly what cancelling a class costs, before they cancel
The cancel dialog now states your real rule for that booking at that moment — free, or late with the exact fee and what happens to the clip — in your venue's local time, and the late-cancellation receipt lists every detail.
- Improvement·
Who sold it and how it was paid are now shown separately
A membership sold at the front desk with a later start date now shows the team member who sold it, even though its first payment was charged automatically on the start date.
- Bug fix·
Pass extensions follow one rule, and logged client calls now save
Extending a pass — from the client's pass, the client list or the AI assistant — now follows one rule. It stops at the pass type's hard end date, never uses up the client's own self-extensions, and tells you when a pass cannot be extended. Logging a call, email or meeting with a client now saves, and the client's Activity tab shows more of what staff did.
- Bug fix·
The AI assistant's bulk changes now follow your venue's own rules
When the AI assistant changes bookings, classes, invoices or passes — one at a time or many at once — each change now goes through the same steps as when you do it yourself, and freezing and unfreezing passes in bulk is back.
- Bug fixTeacher Settlements·
Your professional Network relationships in the Business app
Professionals can review their own venue relationships and act on invitations in the Business app.
- Bug fix·
Clearer labels for AI alerts
AI alerts about revenue changes, at-risk members, low attendance, cancellations, payment failures and AI quality now have readable labels in the alert list.
- Improvement·
Clearer staff sales, queue calls and venue updates
Staff membership sales preserve the chosen buyer, commitment and offer through the final review. Contract email starts off; staff must choose it and have notification permission. An unavailable contract delivery is explained before the sale proceeds.
- Bug fix·
Grouped appointment history keeps its venue context
With the corresponding Consumer app update, grouped appointment history keeps the venue that owns the visit after you switch venues or leave a venue. Times, rebooking and rescheduling links use that verified venue. If time information is unavailable, the app says so rather than borrowing another venue's timezone.
- Bug fixCommunity Events·
Community-event RSVP and ticket recovery in the apps
Scheduled event identity, venue context, waitlist results and original-request recovery are aligned across web and apps.
- Bug fix·
Clearer client merge reviews and sale recovery
With the corresponding Business app update, bulk client merges show each pair before confirmation, including the details that will be kept, records that will move and any blockers. If a batch is interrupted, retrying preserves completed merges instead of repeating them.
- Bug fixAPI·
Client billing and pass actions recover more reliably
With the corresponding Business app update, opening a client's Billing tab no longer crashes when older payment-history data is restored. Partial refunds keep the entered amount after a refused attempt. Receipt printing from client Billing opens after the refund sheet closes, and processing refunds are shown separately from completed refunds.
- Bug fix·
Appointment times stay with the venue that booked them
With the corresponding Consumer app update, appointment history uses the appointment's own venue timezone even after you switch venues or leave a venue. Opening an appointment keeps that venue context. If the venue time cannot be verified, the app says it is unavailable instead of showing a time from another venue.
- Bug fix·
Appointment history and staff booking choices
Existing appointments remain readable when an offering is withdrawn or archived. Rescheduling is available while the venue can still fulfil appointments; archived or read-only offerings keep their history and other permitted actions without offering replacement bookings.
- Bug fix·
Basic appointment tools follow your venue access
Authorized staff can use the appointment list and create appointments with basic appointment access. They no longer see an upgrade requirement for these existing staff tools simply because the full appointment product is not enabled.
- New featureBilling·
Booking Bible invoices now come as PDFs, by email if you want them
Every Booking Bible invoice now has a proper PDF from Booking Bible ApS that you can download from the Money page. You can choose whether each new invoice is emailed to you, and which email address receives it. No action is needed — invoices keep going to your account admin until you choose otherwise.
- Improvement·
What's new only shows updates for what your venue has
Class updates go to venues that run classes, appointment updates to venues that take appointments, and feature updates only to venues that have that feature.
- Improvement·
See who sold each pass, how it was paid, and when
Every pass on a client's "Passes & access" tab now shows a line under its price and dates: when it was bought, how it was paid (card, MobilePay, cash, invoice, comped, or imported), and who sold it — a staff member's name and role, "Client online", "Assigned by" the staff member who granted it, "Granted by course/workshop enrolment", or "Imported from" the prior platform.
- New feature·
Set your own "recently joined" rule, and flag passes about to run out
The check-in "New member" flag is now called **Recently joined**, and you decide the rule: how many days after signup, and how many visits, still count. Set it under Settings → Client list & flags. It defaults to the same rule as before (30 days, under 5 visits), so nothing changes until you adjust it.
- New featureMarketing siteBillingPromotions·
A promo code can waive a membership's registration fee
Promotions gain a "Waive a membership's registration fee" benefit. A batch of single-use codes can each waive the joining fee on a membership, including a Flexible membership at any class allowance and with add-ons, while the membership itself is billed at its normal price.
- New feature·
Hand out personal promo codes from your website, with a deadline you choose
If your own website or marketing tool talks to BookingBible through the API, it can now hand one code from a promo-code batch to one person, give that code a deadline, and email it to them in your brand's style.
- New feature·
Clients choose which pass they use first
Clients with more than one pass can now pick the one their bookings use first. On the web they do it under Passes → Default pass, and in the Consumer and branded apps on the passes screen. Staff can set or clear it for a client on the client profile's Passes tab ("Uses first") and in the Business app client detail. Changing it needs the "manage passes" permission and never notifies the client.
- Bug fix·
Passes, packages and reports: fixes from a full audit
We audited everything around passes, combo packages, product packages and their reports. These are the fixes you may notice.
- Bug fix·
Brand passes now book classes shown under their brand
If you run two or more brands, a pass restricted to a brand now books every class that belongs to that brand, including classes owned by another brand that you also show under it with **Also show under…** on the class type. Before this fix, clients holding such a pass could not book those classes, and online bookings wrongly said their pass had no online access.
- New feature·
Clients can settle overdue payments themselves
When a membership renewal fails or an invoice goes overdue, your clients can now pay it themselves with one tap, on the web client portal and in the Consumer and branded apps. Nothing is ever charged automatically: every payment starts with the client pressing **Pay now**, and it uses the card they have saved. If their bank asks for 3-D Secure confirmation, the confirmation opens right away and th

Stripe connected-account labels now self-heal automatically
A new daily job re-checks every venue's Stripe connected account for charges that missed getting labelled with the client's name and product (e.g. from a transient Stripe error or a redeploy at the wrong moment), and labels them automatically within a couple of days. This is fully automatic — no venue or staff action is needed.
- Bug fixNotificationsMarketing site·
The automatic platform re-engagement email no longer sends
The automatic platform re-engagement email — the daily "We miss you" nudge the platform itself sent to inactive members — has been permanently disabled. It bypassed marketing consent, notification preferences, quiet hours and frequency caps by design, which does not meet current consent requirements. Venues that want to re-engage inactive clients should use their own campaign/marketing send, or th
- Improvement·
Your Stripe dashboard now shows who paid and for what
Payments in your own Stripe dashboard now show the client's name, their client number at your venue and what they bought, for example "Jane Doe (#C-0042) — 10-class pass". Before, many payments showed only a Stripe reference such as `cus_…`, and often no product.
- New featureMarketing siteBilling·
A flash sale can now offer the registration fee alone
A recurring flash sale can leave the membership price untouched and make the registration-fee waiver the entire offer. This is the only honest shape on a Flexible membership, where one shared introductory price cannot equal the normal price at every class allowance. The public offers feed marks such a sale so a storefront shows the struck fee without advertising a cheaper membership.
- Improvement·
Choose what collaborating professionals see about your clients
You can now decide whether a collaborating professional sees which pass or membership a client booked with — its name, status, remaining clips or allowance and expiry — on the rosters of the classes they teach for you. Turn it on or off per professional under Network → Professionals → the professional → Role & access. Prices, payments and account credit are never shown.
- Bug fix·
Check in a whole class after it has ended, with one confirmation
Checking in several clients at once after a class has ended no longer fails silently. When the class has already finished on your venue's clock, the roster asks you once to confirm the whole selection, then checks everyone in. Cancelling sends nothing. The same confirmation now appears for collaborating professionals on the classes they teach for you, and in the Business app for admin and staff ro
- Bug fix·
Schedule editing and reviewed restoration
Full class and series editing opens in a right-side drawer, with a full-width layout on smaller screens. Existing inline class type, room, instructor, time and capacity controls remain available.
- Bug fix·
Schedule operation privacy
Attendance corrections, desk bookings, waitlist changes and schedule cancellation/restoration retain receipts so retries do not repeat changes or client contact. Verified subject access and erasure preparation now include these records, with staff provenance separated from other clients’ private data. Venue exports omit internal replay and provider credentials.
- Bug fix·
Safer class edits and cancellations
Class type, room, instructor, time and capacity remain editable inline. Changes validate the resulting class, and an outdated or conflicting capacity edit asks staff to refresh before trying again.
- Bug fix·
Manual waitlist reliability
Manual Add to waitlist keeps a client in the queue even when seats are available. It uses the client's active venue membership and the operator's location access. Removal checks that the booking is still waitlisted before changing it; a simultaneous promotion asks the operator to refresh. These actions do not consume credits or change occupied seats.
- Bug fix·
Booking notification recovery
Staff-created bookings keep the notification channels selected for that action. “Don’t notify” stays silent when a confirmation is recovered later, and reviewed class restoration stays silent. Self-service confirmations keep their existing behavior.
- Bug fix·
Attendance history and report corrections
Staff reports now distinguish scheduled class-date attendance from action-date audit activity. Attendance History shows venue-local class dates, UTC and venue-local event timestamps, actors, status changes, credit effects, and separate check-in, Undo, and correction operation records. Older bookings with no recorded event say that history is unavailable instead of inventing a time. Tables and CSV
- Bug fix·
Attendance correction and venue-specific booking access
Attendance corrections now enforce the operator's no-show/removal grants and class-location access. Assigned and substitute instructors retain their scoped permissions. An operator denied an organization-wide action cannot bypass that denial through an unrelated check-in grant.
- New featurePassesNotifications·
Unused-class leftover rules in Advanced pass settings
When unused classes roll into the next period, studios can cap leftover, carry through a pause, tell clients leftover is lost on termination, and roll class-pack leftover into the next pack bought before expiry.
- New featurePasses·
Flexible giver-funded gift mode and unused-class publish
Yoga Bible (and other Flexible studios) can select giver-funded membership when the studio feature and platform switch are on. Publishing unused-class rollover no longer fails with “live rules changed elsewhere” after the gift/rollover columns shipped.
- Bug fixStaffNetwork·
New staff professional invites follow appointment venue terms
When an appointment-only venue invites staff who need a professional account, the collaboration is set up as a service provider with treatment pay terms, not a class instructor rate.
- Bug fixNetworkStaff·
Appointment-only professional link invites use treatment terms
Linking a staff member as a professional at an appointment-only venue now invites them as a service provider with treatment pay terms, not a class instructor rate.
- Bug fixAppointmentsNetwork·
Shared hours write the host treatment clock without colliding
Professional hours shared with a host now update the real appointment clock without unique-key collisions. Hosts can replace hours, add blocked times, and notify only when send is allowed. Widget catalogs filter by real collection and technician data. Appointment-only invites default to service provider treatment terms.
